Gratitude Friday

Again, Nolwenn inspired me with her gratitude blog at http://networkedblogs.com/pQieW.
I am so thankful for this.
I am thankful for many things today and many people.
More than anything, I am thankful for my life. I have been through many things, yet there has been a wonderful pattern to it all. Everything I've learned is working together to make my life a more beautiful place. It's all coming together in my life work as I am forging my research tool. I am thankful to the universe for this amazing pattern.

Grateful 11-4-11

I am grateful for my friend, Nolwenn, who inspired me with her blog http://networkedblogs.com/ptB5K
I love her gratitude friday blogs, even though I am not always faithful about participating, I like the reminder that there is so much to be grateful for.
  1. I am grateful that I am alive. I don't know how I survived some of the injuries, accidents and illnesses, but I have. Maybe there's a reason? But I am thankful.
  2. I am grateful for my amazing friends. I find that I meet them at work, online, or at play. But the universe has brought the most amazing people on the planet into my life.
  3. I am grateful for my amazing supportive and kind husband. I am so thankful for his love.
  4. I am grateful for my amazing daughters. Wow. They are both such beautiful people. I am in awe of the lives that I helped to begin.
  5. I am grateful for the useful work that I have, it is so much fun and I believe I am making the world a better place.
  6. and wow. Just realized. I am thankful that I am me.

Gratitude Friday

Wow - it's been over a month since I blogged on gratitude. Thank you, Nolwenn at http://inner-voices.net/blog/2011-10-28/gratitude-friday-10282011-viva-la-famiglia/ for inspiring me to do it again!
I am very grateful for beauty in my life. I love bright colors and meaningful images. I have three BEAUTIFUL pictures - by Nolwenn - that I have on my piano, I'm calling this my dream alter.
I created the little shelf during one of my Dream chooser groups, it symbolizes my dreams, my goals, what I am working towards. I need to add a phoenix and a fire rooster to this.
Her beautiful pictures add so much to this space, I can see it from my desk where I do most of my writing.
I am grateful for her inspiration, her talent, and most important, her friendship.
I am grateful that I am in a place in my life where I can enjoy beauty, enjoy friends, enjoy learning, and enjoy love.
I am grateful for the time to do this.
Thank you, universe!

54 Things I am grateful for - okay, only 26 that I can think of now....

I was inspired by http://networkedblogs.com/nw4dE, Nolwenn writes an amazing blog about gratitude every Friday. She wrote on 26 things she is grateful for since she turned 26. I figured since we share a birthday, I would write about 54 things I am grateful for (I turned 54!)
1. I am grateful that Igal got a new bed for Pooh. He is our big orange cat, and he has a habit of being very noisy when Igal is working or sleeping. I teach online classes and try to make my student videos when he is busy, but Pooh runs around like crazy, caterwauling, howling, squeaking, anything to get my attention. It has been driving me crazy and finally I suggested Igal buy him a cage so I can put him in the garage while I am taping videos. Well, yesterday he got a cage, then put a very soft cushion in there, and sprinkled catnip in it. Pooh has been in that cage nonstop since, by his own choice. I think he likes that it is on the couch where he can look out over everything happening in the room. He reluctantly comes out to be fed, then runs back into the cage. He has been so quiet ever since. I was able to make videos last night and this morning.
2. I am grateful for my amazing husband
3. I am grateful for my friend, Nolwenn
4. I am grateful for my online teaching job - I love teaching!
5. I am grateful for my part time job at Monarch selling beautiful gifts
6. I am grateful for good health
7. I am grateful for a beautiful place to live.
8. I am grateful for wonderful friends
9. I am grateful that the economy is failing. This is because it means the ending of the old (greed-based) way of doing business and the beginning of the new ethical way of doing business that is sprouting up.
10. I am grateful for the beautiful fog this morning.
11. I am grateful for chocolate.
12. I am grateful for coffee
13. I am grateful for beets
14. I am grateful for Reiki - which helps me manage pain
15. I am grateful for my computer - it's still working...
16. I am grateful for my camera - takes nice pictures
17. I am grateful my car is still running
18. I am grateful that the Dean likes the way I teach
19. I am grateful that my students are doing well
20. I am grateful for the beautiful colors in the world
21. I am grateful for my mom
22. I am grateful for all the things I have learned from my sister.
23. I am grateful for the lesson of grace
24. I am grateful for my dissertation project
26. I am grateful for my life coach.
Okay, I think 26 is enough for today.... I am more grateful and will think of more things while I am at work.
:)

Gratefully 7/17

I was inspired by http://inner-voices.net/ to continue with the Gratitude friday, even though my timing is a little off.
I am grateful for friends who are supportive. Old friends who have stuck by me through everything, new friends that are exciting and fun to get to know.
I am grateful for a job that I love. And another that I love that will start up again in the fall.
I am grateful that I have been able to save and scrimp so that we can make our bills this summer while I am not working full time (that's relative. I am still working on my doctorate, I am preparing classes for fall, I am so busy, working part time sounds like I am sitting around eating chocolates and watching soap operas)
I am grateful that I am learning to live without judgement and accept myself the way I am this summer.
I am grateful that I have been in good health. (without insurance that is very important!)
I am grateful that everyone is connected and I am learning to live a connected life.
